Thomas has taught small business management at the Clackamas College Small Business Development Center since 1986. He is a past recipient of the Leavey (leevee) Award which recognized him as one of the 15 most innovative business educators in the United States. He is also a nationally recognized curriculum developer honored by the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship. During his tenure at Clackamas College, Thomas has assisted in more than 600 startup ventures and served more than 2,000 Northwest small businesses.
Thomas is an adjunct faculty member at Marylhurst University where he teaches in the MBA program. Thomas has just released his book “The Small Book of Small Business Wisdom”, available through the Ridgefield New Media Center.
An active futurist researcher, he has spoken to business, education, and community audiences across the nation since 1991.
Thomas holds a Master of Science in Management degree from Marylhurst University and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Leadership and Organization Development from Walden University. |
